EDM was appointed by Opal Aged Care to manage the design, documentation, authority approvals, tender process, contract award, and construction delivery and administration for a new 120-bed Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) in Killarney Vale on the Central Coast.
The new facility is designed to connect with the existing aged care home and provide shared laundry and kitchen services to both buildings. The project also includes the construction of a new Allied Health facility.
A concept design based on a small household model, with a strong focus on infection control, was completed in late 2020. The project was subsequently placed on hold at that stage.
