Local Government Super (LGS) engaged EDM to provide both development and project management services for the proposed extensions and upgrades to Sturt Mall shopping centre in Wagga Wagga.
The works include a new 4,200 sqm Coles supermarket, refurbishment of the existing Kmart, new specialty shops and amenities, and a multi-deck car park. These upgrades will increase the centre’s gross leasable area (GLA) from 15,000 sqm to 22,000 sqm.
Development consent for the project was obtained in February 2014, and the site was subsequently acquired by Dexus in mid-2014.
